Applying for the SRD R350 Grant: Step-by-Step
Go to the website:
Visit the website where you apply for the grant. The website address is https://srd.sassa.gov.za
Start your application:
Find the section on the website that says “Apply Online” or something similar. Click on it.
Enter your cellphone number:
Carefully type in your cellphone number in the box.
Click the button that says “Send SMS”.
Check your phone:
You’ll get a text message (SMS) on your phone with a special code (called an OTP). It will have 6 numbers.
Enter the code:
On the website, find the box where you put the code from your text message.
Type the numbers carefully and click on the “Verify Pin” button.
Agree to the rules:
Read the terms and conditions carefully.
If you are okay with everything, find the button to agree and click it.
Enter your ID details:
If you have a South African ID, type your ID number exactly how it looks on your ID.
If you use a Refugee or Special Permit, type in your file number from that document.
Your personal information:
Put in your full name and surname (last name).

How you want to get paid:
